Change Has Its Price

How much does change cost? Logically, you would think that small change would cost a little and big change would cost a lot — in time, emotion, and sometimes my money. Yet rarely does logic apply when it comes to change. I’ve found that while small change might not really cost much, I act like there’s a huge price attached. I guess I’m like most people. I’m a miser when it comes to the cost of change.

How is this a career move? Change is inevitable. In fact, wouldn’t you be disappointed if there was no change in life? I know that I would be really bored. So rather than pay dearly for every change that comes along, decide right now that you’ll only pay as much as it’s really worth. Big change? Then pay it its due. Small change? No worries. You can afford that — and maybe get some change back.
